"Basically I find it fascinating to see someone step off a mountain — 2-3-4.000 meters high. And it's a very visual metaphor for making hard choices in life."
"But the sport didn't interest me per se – Ellen Brennan did. She's the fastest woman in the world and considered a true artist in a very male dominated environment. We followed Ellen on her own terms. Which meant walking with her in the mountains, as high as 4.000 meters in the French Alps, where she lives. It became a podcast inspired conversation in ten chapters."
"Ellen has dedicated her whole life to the art of flying. Or rather to the art of walking up the mountain and flying down. More than an athlete I see her as a modern day Thoreau or a flying Friedrich Nietzsche. Every day she gets up in the morning, walks up the mountain looking for cliffs and ledges that are suitable to jump from. She calls these suitable ledges 'Exits'."
